Beschreibung
On a voyage from Norway to Melbourne this ship lost the chief mate by drowning and the captain by death. Having no navigator, the "dictatorship of the proletariat" was resorted to, and this proved so effective that she was found by the S.S. Tagliaferro 1200 miles off her course, near Gantheame Bay, W.A. the steamer's second officer went on board, and took charge, and a fortnight later, the Aberfoyle anchored safely in Hobson's Bay.
